Instructor: Cory Wong is a Grammy-nominated American guitarist, bassist, songwriter, podcast-host, and producer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has performed with Vulfpeck, Dave Koz, Stay Human, The Fearless Flyers, and more. He performed at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2021.

Subject: In this video, Cory teaches students a simple, yet effective training exercise he uses to improve his rhythm. 

Age/Skill-Level Recommendation: Intended for beginner to advanced level musicians, ages 14 and up.

Recommended Use: We recommend this video be used to teach students of all skill levels who are interested in improving their abilities on an instrument. Although Cory uses the guitar to demonstrate the exercise, it can be applied to any instrument. 

Note: a metronome is needed for this exercise.
