Newport Festivals Foundation teamed up with Jon Batiste, The Dap-Kings, and Electric Lady Studios to raise funds for music education.

We’re proud to announce we be made a donation in memory of Sharon Jones to Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit that trains public school teachers and donates resources needed to run pop/rock-based music education classes. It will be used specifically for programs in the Brooklyn area, where she grew up and formed Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings. Thank you, Sharon, for all you gave us and thanks to our community for making this donation possible.
