Grace Kelly – “Ear Training”

Instructor: Grace Kelly is a saxophonist, songwriter, and arranger. She has recorded with Lin Manuel- Miranda, Dave Brubeck, Wynton Marsalis, and more. She performed at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2018.

Subject: Students will learn about ear training, an essential skill for musicians at any level. Grace explains the importance of ear training and shares her own personal practice technique to improve her ears.

Age/Skill-Level Recommendation: Intended for beginner to advanced level music students, ages 14 and up. A basic understanding of how to play an instrument is required
